With victory in their previous matches and similar number of
points, Royal Challengers Bangalore is going to be taking on
Kolkata Knight Riders at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium on 12th
October, 2020 at 07:30 PM IST. Both the teams have four wins
out of the six matches played and a win in the upcoming match
will clearly help strengthen their position a ladder above on the
points table. Both the teams managed to recover and
eventually win. Their respective captain were in their respective
form in their respective matches.
KOLKATA KNIGHT RIDERS – To make his side compete a total against Kings 11 Punjab, Dinesh Karthik played a spectacular inning in the previous match. Kolkata Knight riders have no way came closer to their win if he did not blast at the end. The team is going to be
tested in the upcoming match against Royal Challengers
Bangalore. Rahul Tripathi looked average in the previous match
while Shubman Gill has to gear up his play. Dinesh Karthik,
Nitish Rana and Eoin Morgan are left with not much to show in
IPL 2020. Everyone might be under pressure due to the fact
that Andre Russell is not getting his runs anymore.
The IPL Batting Tips part seems to be struggling against the RCB bowlers their batting is a little frail. The team also needs to sort issues
with its bowling part. Andre Russell did not bowl as he got
injured in the previous match. He is fit to play against RCB but
might not be able to bowl. After an attempt for illegal action,
Sunday Naraine has been called off from bowling at all. The
team now is left with shortage of options. The rest lies in the
hands of Indian bowlers like Varun Chakravarthy, Prasidh
Krishna and Kamlesh Nagarkoti. Kolkata is going to play the match with a lot of issues and all the above things needs to be considered before you place your bet.
ROYAL CHALLENGERS BANGALORE – Virat Kohli played slow on a difficult pitch to bat so far and made 90 runs being not out and was single handedly responsible for their win against Chennai Super Kings. In fact, RCB made 74 runs in last five overs, all scored by Virat Kohli without losing a single wicket. Generally, Kohli isn’t the average T20 player that groups search for. He is fantastically predictable yet he isn’t somebody who is going to crush sixes from the
beginning on most events. That is the place Sharjah will be
another one of a kind test for him.
The team is over reliant on Virat and AB De Villiers. They have
already made a number of changes to the team. A clear
emerging weakness seems to be Devdutt Padikkal who must be
targeted by the opponents by some spinner. The pit h at
Sharjah is on a slower side and Aaron Finch and AB De Villiers
can be dangerous on small grounds. Being their first match at
Sharjah, they seem to be quite happy with their batting lineup.
The bowlers might need to be challenged to adapt against the
similar batting lineup. Well, RCB seems to be sort with its
bowling lineup with Isuru Udana, Yuzvendra Chahal and Chris
PITCH AND CONDITIONS-
In the previous match played here, the team batting first got to
win the match as defending a total on short rounds difficult
task. So it might be possible that the team winning the toss
might choose to bat first. The pitch slower with the match and
makes the second inning more difficult to bat.
The ground dimensions at Sharjah are typically small and six
hitting thereby becomes a must. Different from other venues,
this pitch can witness additional run scoring.
